The COMESA Competition Commission with the technical assistance of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will host an intensive training in merger investigations and analysis targeting the case handlers from the National Competition Authorities of all the COMESA Member States.

The training will offer tools and techniques that are required to successfully investigate and analyse modern complex mergers and acquisitions. The program will, in addition, feature focused learning experiences, case studies and merger simulations.

The primary aim of the training is to enhance the capacity of the emerging and established National Competition Authorities of the COMESA Member States in handling mergers and acquisitions in the modern dynamic market environment. The dates for the workshop will be communicated soon.
