Commissioner Francis Lebon
Commissioner Francis Lebon is currently the Principal Secretary of Trade in the Ministry of Finance, National Planning and Trade in Seychelles. Prior to this, he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Fair-Trading Commission of Seychelles. He started his career at the Central Bank of Seychelles and held the post of Senior Domestic Debt Officer in the Public Debt Unit. He was the Trade and Sales Manager at Barclays Bank of Seychelles before joining the Fair-Trading Commission in December 2010 as Senior Competition Analyst and promoted to Director of competition in January 2012, to Deputy CEO in 2015 and was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in 2017.
He also serves as a member of the Financial Services Authority Appeal Board.
Commissioner Lebon holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, Finance & Banking, Postgraduate Diploma in Economics for Competition Law, Diploma in Accounting and MBA with the University of West Scotland through the University of Seychelles. He is a member of the Building Committee and Vice-chairperson of the Technical and Strategy Committee of the Board.
